Virgin Farmland for Sale in Ghana (Bono East Region)

There are currently 60 acres of farmland for sale via my little homey, Muhammad Abdul Latif.  He runs a business called Mo-Larun Enterprise which deals in, amongst other things, real estate.  And he also traces his origins back to mango farming.

As you can see from the content below, the area is currently being cleared of trees and brush, which is the hardest, most-expensive part of getting land ready for farming.  That's why I'm referring to it as "virgin farmland".   It's hard to tell when, if ever, human have actually used it.  There may be small, personal gardens embedded here and there, but nothing large scale has gone on this land in the perceivable past.  It's located in a rural community called Tahiru Akura, which is part of Ghana's Bono East Region, and the closest major town is Kintampo.

The selling price is GH₵20,000.00 (i.e. $1,700.00) per acre.  It's negotiable, especially if you're buying more than one.  And to note, this is straight farmland.  It's close to the highway but is not somewhere, infrastructure wise, that's residential.

CONCLUSION

This is a sound, inexpensive opportunity to get into or expand your farm business in Ghana.  As other parts of the world become congested and less arable, land in areas like the Bono East Region remain fresh.  Mo-Larun has done a good job securing these resources and making them available to the public, with real estate and agriculture being steadily-profitable in Ghana.
