I'm proud to be associated with JoeTex Farms (i.e. the JoeTex Group of Companies), a business entity located in Somanya, one of my favorite places in Ghana.  They specialize in real estate, luxury cars and mango farming, and JoeTex currently has a major business opportunity available in the form of a large, uncompleted student hostel they're selling.  I wanted to use this post to once again push this property. Front view of the JoeTex hostel structure HIGHER EDUCATON IN GHANA The higher education sector in Ghana is booming - and take from that what you will.  The job market leaves much to be desired; most degrees are arguably irrelevant, and it doesn't appear as if these realities will change anytime soon.  But still, there are more Ghanaians attending and graduating from tertiary institutions, most notably universities, than ever. Relatedly, there's also a high and increasing demand for student housing.  Ghanaian universities tend to have their own dormitories....

Slowly but surely, my little homey Latif is venturing deeper and deeper into the realm of real estate.  And every time he comes across an exciting property, he sends it to me so that I can let the world know via GHfind .  For example, a couple of weeks ago he sent me information on a walled plot of land in Nsawam , an area that's sorta up in the mountains. But the latest scoop consists of a roadside plot with a large structure found in Kwabenya , which is a part of Greater Accra .  As it currently stands, said structure is about 30% complete. To my current understanding, the house consists of nine separate apartments in total, spread across two storeys. Recently my lil homey Latif got the scoop on some uncompleted houses for sale in a part of Greater Accra known as Gbetsile.  Moreover the sales' package includes the land upon which the houses are situate.  In other words if you purchase the house then you get the piece of land underneath it also.  And there are three houses in total, located in a gated community.  Additionally each individual house, with its land, cost  GH¢65,000  - or $11,400 in American currency.   This is what we refer to as development real estate.  The fact that the foundation and other parts of the house are already built (as shown in the pics) saves the buyer the cost and hassle of having to do so on their own.  That is to say that they can just finish what the original builders have already started.
